I am a new teacher and my class is an extra first grade to have a better teacher/student ratio. My class does not have a defined space for us to meet and this would make for a more warm and welcoming room. The difference it would make in our room is undeniable. Being able to come together as a class helps us feel more like family. It allows us to come together in a more unified way instead of being separated at desks or tables. This would also give us a place for our morning meeting and afternoon chit chats and discussion of group activities that we have.
