With the popularity of Escape Rooms, students will be more motivated to complete complicated mathematics tasks. Students will be given the opportunity to work collaboratively to solve a series of complex math problems, related to skills taught in the classroom, as well as beyond the classroom. By working together to complete the Escape Room, students will learn from each other and utilize clues to solve a problem. They will complete math problems using problem-solving skills. After solving each problem, they will escape one area. Then they will need to complete another problem, etc. Each math problem will increase in reasoning and logical thinking. These materials can also be used for other subjects to help with students' critical thinking skills, which are essential for 21st-century skills. Once materials are acquired, we can make an incredible amount of growth in 21st-century problem-solving​.
