    Thank you so much for the new supplies and headphones. My students were so happy to get new headphones because the old ones didn't work well and hurt their ears, especially wearing masks at the same time.

    Now I can have a quieter small group time and I know the students can hear their program for sure. We got our supplies in time for our end of the year testing too which will help them do their best.

    My students love these supplies and it has boosted their motivation to take care of their things and make sure they are put away carefully.

  • Making Our Room Beautiful And Resourceful!

    Thank you so much for the wonderful books and supplies! I showed the students what we received and then passed out all of the new materials and the kids were so happy to have new things.

    We read one of the new books and the students couldn't stop talking about it- I even read it again the next day.

    This donation not only impacted my students this school year but it will continue with my future students too. I have a lot of supplies, books, and decorations that will be able to be used for the next few years.

  • Help US Create Our OWN Science Experiences!

    I would like to say thank you for the GoPro camera and supplies! It means so much to me and my students each year to be blessed with these gifts. Our class plans on making science videos during experiments and our outdoor observation sessions for our science block. If we observe something interesting that we want to look back at to analyze we can using the video from the GoPro.

    My students are excited to have access to a current piece of technology, this also teaches them responsibility with technology and how to use it.

    I can take the camera to different locations and make virtual "field trips" to show the students the surrounding cities and environments in Michigan and we can discuss how to keep our state clean and learn about sustainable living.

  • Making Memories!

    Thank you so much for donating the money for our package. Due to Covid-19 we have not been able to take photos with the camera yet. However, we are in high hopes to return to school soon!

    Once we are back in school I have an amazing project planned for the students. I plan to take each of their pictures and then we are going to write a small descriptive story about their experience learning virtual. The pictures will be them in their ACTUAL classroom!! I will put the date on the photograph as well so they can always remember what it was like when they came back to in-person learning.

    I will hang the photographs and writing on the classroom wall for a while and then send it home to their families. Again, thank you SO much for giving this amazing gift to us. There is no better way to capture memories than instant photos. This is also helpful because some developing centers are closed due to Covid-19 and now we don't have to worry about waiting because we have an instant camera!”

The project that I would like to have funded is about ending the year with pictures to look back on and special treats to enjoy for all of their hard work. I am in need of a camera to take the kid's pictures so we can have a graduation memory from our wonderful year. I would also like to have extra food and snacks funded because the students I teach need an extra snack because they don't always get to enjoy those kind of treats anywhere else. I want to end this year on an enjoyable one because the students deserve it!
