STEM careers are becoming more and more prevalent in today's society. I want to offer engaging activities to my students that will have them ready to tackle our fast-paced digital society. These activities will encourage Critical thinking, Communication, Creative thinking, Collaboration, Citizenship, and Coding. In small groups, students will put the 6 C's into play- working together to solve challenges, create projects, and problem solve; thus developing higher-level thinking and communication skills. Working with the goal in mind that they will be able to utilize these skills in the real world, students will become empowered by the success of completing STEM challenges with their peers. I can't wait to empower students, see the exciting outcomes, and hear the rich discussions that will come from these learning activities!
