  • Play. Explore. Imagine!

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

Our Kindergarten class works hard on academic and social skills in the classroom. One important part of our day is our free choice play time. Students are able to interact with each other and play in different areas of the classroom each day. One important area, is our kitchen area. Over the years, items have been worn out and we were in big need of some materials to inspire students to create and communicate! Our project request was for a variety of play food and materials.

When we received our boxes, students were so excited and surprised! We unboxed our new toys together and students couldn't wait to help me put them away in the kitchen! Students were excited to serve each other pizza, tacos, sushi, and more! It has been such a fun space to play and explore in. Students take orders, share materials, and take pride in keeping our new toys organized and cared for.

Thank you so much for your contribution to our classroom community. We will happily use these wonderful materials and think of your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Johnson

  • Creative Play in Kindergarten!

    Funded Dec 31, 2019

Words cannot express the positive impact you have had on our classroom community. The materials you purchased for our classroom are fun, engaging, facilitate teamwork, communication and so much creativity. I wish you could see my students as we opened each box together. They couldn't believe that strangers would "fill our buckets" with such generosity.

All of the Kindergarten students at my school are enjoying this new resource for play time. 5 and 6 year olds learn crucial life skills through play time and our new materials enrich the learning environment for all students. We utilize these materials each day.

Thank you for giving my students the gift of play. Many students in the years to come with be impacted by your kindness and generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Johnson
