Let's Make Learning Fun and Flexible!
Funded Oct 17, 2022Receiving the goodies donated by all of our generous donors was like Christmas all over again for our students. They were excited to for us (teachers) to reveal what goodies were inside the boxes. They were particularly excited to see the pop-its, kinetic sands, and the standing desk - their eyes were SO WIDE!
Our students enjoy using the kinetic sands to build their English high frequency words. They use the Pop-Its to play a game we call 'Pop-It Master'. In this game, they race against another peer to see who can pop the high frequency words the fastest. They have so much fun competing against one another. The lacing has really come in handy for our little ones that needs to work on their fine motor skills at the same time of learning their high frequency words. Along with the wooden letter boards, it's great for our little ones that are still learning how to form their letters correctly. The Snap-It Up math game has really done wonders for our students math fluency. All of these amazing materials that you've all donated has made learning that much more fun and engaging for our students. Thank you so much!
The standing desk has been extremely helpful with our students that needs to move and stand versus the traditional sitting at their desk - it really helps them get their wiggles out and focus at the same time.
On behalf of the students, we would love to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the supplies that were donated to our classroom. We will continue to use the supplies to make learning fun and engaging for our students.”
With gratitude,

Funded Oct 25, 2019It was like Christmas all over again when our students saw all the presents our class received. I wish I had taken a picture of their initial reaction - it was priceless. They were excited to try out the new seats and magnetic dry-erase slant boards.
Our students enjoy independent working time so much more now because they get to choose cool seats. Aside from independent working time, we also use these materials for whole group and small group instructions.
Since there are limited supplies of these flexible seats, our students are learning the importance of sharing so that everybody can get a chance to enjoy the cool/fun seats. Seeing how motivated my students are to work during independent time because of these flexible seating, I hope to continue to change my classroom to allow for these flexibility that our students need.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Cheng
