Students love to experience relief printmaking. I have used various types of relief printing plates with them over the years, but have yet to try gel plates; I look forward to seeing what they can create. There is something magical about pulling a print. No one ever knows what kind of image will be created after inking the plate and placing the paper on top. All students, no matter their ability, are capable of making beautiful prints. Sometimes they surprise themselves, and that's magical, too! Good quality materials yield good quality results. The better the result, the better the experience!

About my class
