Warm and Focused
Funded Nov 30, 2022Thanks to your generosity, our students were able to stay warm and focused this cold season. Students were able to wear a uniform sweatshirt in school to stay warm while following dress code rules. Thanks to your donations, these sweatshirts were available to students free of charge. This tremendously helped many families. When students are warm, they are more focused on participating in class because they have less distractions to worry about. Thanks for helping our students stay warm and focused.”

Funded Aug 26, 2022Thanks to your generosity, our students have been able to use technology in a way like never before. Thier new state-of-the-art interactive white board has allowed them to increase class participation. Students enjoy it more than a traditional white board and they are happy to be able to use technology as part of their daily routine. Students are very excited to have this new technology in our classroom and I look forward to continuing to improve my lessons by incorporating more technology that students enjoy using.”

Creative Reading
Funded Jul 20, 2021Thanks to your donation, our class will be able to read more creatively. Students enjoy looking around the classroom and absorbing information written in lively colors and fonts. We can keep our class information neatly posted at all times. Our agenda boards and bulletin boards are very neat and organized, making it easier to find information and read it. Our new Cricut Maker will be used to continue improving our learning environment and making reading fun! We look forward to using it for many different future projects for years to come.”

Funded Oct 24, 2019Because of your generous donations, so many of our students can live an easier, more efficient life in our classroom. We have been using our new printer for student reports, copies of student work, and documentation for use in faculty, student/ teacher, as well as parent/ teacher conferences. We also use it for printing letters of recommendation for our college applicants. The scanner has allowed for us to make digital copies of student work, reports, and conferencing materials. These digitized documents add to our organization system in that all of these documents are easy to locate and store; this is helpful when conferring about and/or with students. The pencil sharpener allows for students to always be prepared for classroom tasks. With the electric hole punch and label maker, students are able to keep their work binders organized and labeled for easy storage. We also use the label maker for labeling files so students can easily find class assignments and also to label our classroom library. Our students are practicing community responsibility in the classroom by following organization systems. This frees up time so we can Work Smarter Not Harder! Thank you so much from all of us!”
