• Help My Students' Participation With White Boards!

  I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations for my classroom and students. Distance learning is already going to have so many complications, but these items are going to make it easier.

  The white boards and dry erase markers that I am sending home to my students will do wonders to improve their participation. They will be able to quickly jot down an answer, show their learning in a variety of ways, and this will allow me to check their progress on what we are learning.

  The dry erase board easel will allow me to show examples to the students on my end, and work with them one on one over video chat. When we are back in the schools, that easel will be a huge help for small groups. Thank you all so much.”

• Distance Learning Beginner's Kit!

  Thank you SO much for your generous donations! You have no idea the impact these will have for distance learning. These math resources will help make the virtual math block very effective. The magnetic fraction tiles will show some hands on learning that the students can watch, and when we get back into the classroom they will be able to use them themselves!

  The laptop stand and wireless mouth will assist me in virtual teaching. While I am projecting or using my document camera, I will be able to place my laptop wherever it needs to be. I appreciate your generosity more than you know, thank you for helping the progress of my students' learning.”

• Help My Students Create a School Away From School!

  I appreciate your generosity for these items more than you know! The behind the chair storage was out of stock, so Donor's Choose allowed me to replace the items with something that was in stock. I got a mini projector to project live lessons for my kids to teach from, and a book called "Crown: An Ode to the Fresh Cut" by Denene Millner.

  I am in the process of making the tool kits for the students, check the photos to see how they look! I know the students will be INCREDIBLY excited to have math manipulatives and important charts to use whenever they need them, all wrapped up into one little kit.”

• Let Students Show Their Learning, 2020 Style!

  This iPad has been amazing in my classroom! Because we are very short on computers, there are always a few students that are left without one. This iPad is very versatile and I can use it for many different things. The students have been able use this to get on their intervention websites when we are having computer problems, use it to take pictures of their work, etc.

  My students find it much easier to work on a tablet than they do on a computer, so they have so much more fun working on a tablet, and there is a lot more to do. It has a lot of apps they can use for instructional games, take pictures, visit what they need to on the internet; they can even look up unfamiliar words! This iPad is an amazing start of a class collection that will hopefully start growing.”
