I teach in an inner city school where the students are low income. My school has a bilingual gifted program, a program that is designed to meet the needs of students whose primary language is not English. I teach in a self-contained bilingual fourth grade classroom. I have 32 students who range in academic capabilities. To meet the needs of my students I need to differentiate instruction.
