While painting and building with art materials children will use lots of language to talk about what they are doing and how they are feeling. This will help them to improve their language and to help them process any emotions they are having. They also use their fine motor skills to get their little hands ready for writing. These are all things that are important in the early years to help them have better success in school later. Most of the children have never had experience with these items so we are excited to introduce them to the world of art!

About my class
