A music classroom should be fun, exciting, and inspire the students to create and express themselves through music. I like colors and pictures and stuffed animals and anything else that gets students engaged. However, right now I am in a portable classroom. If you've never been inside a portable, imagine the inside of a box with gray carpet. It's hard to enjoy music class inside a plain beige portable. I'm grateful for the room that I have and all I'm able to accomplish in it, but I could really use some help in sprucing the place up. A fun carpet would not only bring some color to the room but with the printed music staff, I could use it for the older kids who are learning to read music. Students can move around for activities and games using the carpet staff, allowing them to practice their note reading
