Students have enough obstacles in their lives to let the lack of simple, basic supplies hinder them from receiving a consistent, deliberate music education. The reeds will not only keep students performing on quality reeds, but they will also help foster an attitude of good stewardship when it comes to important supplies. Reeds are responsible for achieving a good tone on the clarinet and alto saxophone, and in this case, they will also help set a tone of responsibility. The donations to this project will aid in targeting the emotional and mental stress that students experience when they can't afford or are unable to purchase supplies. This donation helps to level the playing field, allowing talented students to excel.
