Funded Aug 14, 2024We are LOVING our new classoom carpet! We are thrilled to share how your generous support has made an immediate and lasting impact on our 4K classroom! Thanks to your donation, we recently installed a beautiful, new carpet in our classroom, and the difference it has made is truly remarkable.
Our young learners now have a warm, welcoming space where they can comfortably explore, play and learn together. The new carpet has transformed the room into an even more inviting environment, making it ease for children to gather for story time, circle activities, and interactive lessons. Not only does the carpet provide a soft surface for the children to sit, play, and move more freely, but it also adds a vibrant, joyful energy to the room.
Since adding the carpet, we've seen firsthand how it foster's a stronger sense of community and engagement among the students. The children now have a dedicated, cozy area that encourages collaboration, creativity, and friendships. From imaginative play to group reading time, your gift has created opportunities for connection and learning that we cherish daily.
Thank you for making this special upgrade possible. Your kindness and commitment to our school will leave a lasting impression for years to come.”

Funded May 6, 2022We are absolutely loving our new sensory table! Every week we get to explore new things within it. So far we have had water with blocks, field corn, Halloween creepy crawlies, and scissors with various items to cut. Its a safe place for us to get messy and explore our senses and skills. Every Monday students are excited to see what is in the table and immediately gravitate to it at station and free time. We are excited for the weeks and months to come as we will do ice, magnetic sand, rice, shaving cream and the list goes on and on.
Thank you for providing us with the new sensory table and materials to use in it. We are learning so much through our play and will continue to do so not only with our hands and senses but with language skills, sharing and turn taking.”

Funded May 19, 2021We have been blessed with the new materials you help to provide our 4K classroom. We use the stand up magnetic board daily; from messages, track building, and creating gear designs. It is loved by ALL! Currently, we are using the board as part of our daily check in. It is the perfect size for the students to reach and be able to interact with. When they arrive to school its the first thing they see. They come to the board and answer the question on the day. Then at circle time we look at the results. It has made a huge impact on student learning!”

Bouncing Our Wiggles Out
Funded Sep 30, 2020During these cold winter months, we have been beyond thankful for our indoor stepping stones and trampoline to keep our bodies moving and get our wiggles out. We have been playing the floor is lava with the stepping stones. The kids go crazy for it! We have also made fun trails and challenges around our classroom using the stepping stones. The trampoline has been a life saver in our classroom! We use it daily during free choice time and pull it out if our bodies need a sensory break! Having these resources at our fingertips has been amazing! Thank you for helping to keep our classroom fun and exciting!”

Funded Sep 17, 2020Our 4K classes are really enjoying our new fine motor art supplies! We are using all of our new materials in our fine motor journals weekly. The kids are really motivated to write and draw especially with the beloved smelly markers! We have done some really neat art projects with the neon crayons on black paper and the slick sticks on portrait paper. The pip squeak markers are just the right size for our four year old's little hands.
All of these items have contributed to our classes new found love for writing and drawing. It has helped us prepare them for kindergarten as they are writing their names and growing so much in their fine motor skills.
Thank you for helping to keep our classroom fun and exciting!”

Funded May 6, 2020Our 4K classes are LOVING the new kitchen play set! Thankfully my students are in person and lots went right to that dramatic area on day one of school! It has been fun to watch friendships develop and turn taking lessons unfold since September. It is very inviting and the perfect size their little bodies and hands. It is very well made and will last our program many many years of imaginative play.
The fun concoctions such as spider pizza, dinosaur stew, and crazy sandwich stacks that have come out of that kitchen both made us laugh and have fun pretending to enjoy or dislike! We are so grateful for this updated addition to our classroom.”

Funded Sep 20, 2019Our four year old kindergarten program in our small school is something we are very proud of. Our students work hard in our play based classrooms. We are always looking for ways and manipulates to make this happen, so we were beyond excited to have our packages arrive full of great things to get our imaginations and creativeness flowing. Our students have been creating impressive "masterpieces" with the LEGOS. It is amazing watching them create without a picture or a guide just their own engineering minds. Not only have the LEGOS been a hit but also the cars and trucks, dolls for the dollhouse, and other building materials.
Thank you for supporting our love of learning through play!”
