I have a diverse student population in my classes, and I also have a co-taught class for students facing special challenges. Research shows that the more senses and channels a student absorbs information from, the higher the likelihood they will retain and comprehend the information. My district provided computers for all students recently, but without headphones I can't use a variety of auditory resources to help them learn spelling. This is especially difficult for many of my students with learning disabilities who are auditory learners. If you could help me obtain headphones, it would make a significant and measurable difference.
