These tools will help my students meet their sensory needs while we are learning so that they can better focus on their learning. The visual timers will help them transition throughout the day, as they can easily see how much time they have left for an activity. These tools will be available to any student who needs them in an easily accessible area and the students will be taught how to use them effectively. The chewy bracelets will help my students who need oral stimulation and prevent them from chewing on their school supplies. The headphones will help my autistic students who have noise sensitivities. The tangle jrs make excellent fidgets for my students who need to keep their hands busy while focusing. In all, these resources will be tools that my students can make use of to best meet their learning needs so that they can better work and focus in the school environment.
