    Thank you so much for your generosity in making our classroom wish list a reality! The students have been working so hard this year, and the items you purchased for our classroom have really helped us stay organized and motivated!

    We use our clock practically every second of the day! One student is in charge of setting our timer so we know how much time we have to accomplish our goals. The students really enjoy the different music settings that go with the timer, too.

    Our line up spots have also been very helpful! Each student has a number, and they are able to stay in line thanks to these helpful number dots!

    There are so many more items that you helped to purchase that have been so useful this year. I truly appreciate your amazing generosity!”

  • Comfortable and Cozy Classroom

    I want to thank you so very much for your generosity. I wish you could have seen the looks on my students' faces when I first told them our project for a cozy and comfortable classroom was approved. They were so excited!!

    We now have a very cozy and comfortable space! When students walk through the door, they are immediately greeted not just by me, but by the warm, glowing lights of our new lamps. They especially love our new space lamp which arrived with our new Space unit! They enjoy coming up to the carpet now because they all have a spot to sit at other than the carpet.

    Students have different jobs, however almost everyone has been helping to keep our furniture in its correct space. Students will also notice if the furniture is getting scuffed up, and they'll take it upon themselves to get the Magic Eraser and wipe it down. We really love our cozy and comfortable classroom, and it is all thanks to your amazing kindness and generosity!”

  • Amazing Books for Amazing Students!

    Thank you so much for the gift of book sets in our classroom! Because of your generous donation, we have been able to start our first round of book clubs where we're studying the fantasy genre. The students were able to choose from 5 different fantasy novels.

    Next week will be the first week where they meet to discuss what they have read. They're so excited to have this opportunity! I see them reading their books and jotting down notes for their book club meeting.

    After this round of book clubs, then we'll get to move into our next genre which will be science fiction. We couldn't have had these book clubs without your generosity!”

We will use these books for our student-led book clubs and for independent reading. These books will allow students to pick books that interest them and are at their reading level. Currently, we only have one copy of most of these books, so I've needed to hunt around the school, and go to the public library to get more copies. I am hoping to have these books available in our classroom all the time so the students can read them for book clubs as well as independent reading times. This would really make an amazing difference in our classroom library!
