  • TPT to Help with HMH

    Funded May 7, 2024

Thank you so much for helping with these gift cards. They will help us differentiate our new reading program for our 5th graders, enabling us to scaffold instruction and extend the learning of our bright little minds. We appreciate your generosity and look forward to making some meaningful purchases on Teachers Pay Teachers.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stutz

  • Who Wants to Play a Little Game?

    Funded Oct 9, 2023

Thank you so much for the gift of games for my students. They are loving these games during our free time and as an incentive in the classroom.

The math games have also been a big hit - and these games are supporting a variety of learners in my classroom. The math games are both accelerating their learning, as well as reinforcing key mathematical concepts taught in previous grades.

The best part has been watching their teamwork skills blossom. The children are learning life lessons about playing fairly with one another, as well as how to be a "good" winner and how to be gracious when they do not win.

Thank you again for supporting my classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stutz

  • Can You Hear This?

    Funded Mar 20, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to this project. The headphones have been so helpful to my students. They love audiobooks and can listen now with ease. They also enjoy using the headphones as they work on their math and reading websites as well. My students are able to use the headphones with their school laptops and their iPads too, making them super versatile. They said they are super comfortable and way better than the earbuds we were using before. We appreciate the support you have shown our classroom community.”

  • Fun and Fabulous Field Day

    Funded May 10, 2023

Thank you for making our field day one for the books! The children had a blast with the new team-building activities and snacks that were funded through this project.

We appreciate your support to the 2023 graduating class, as well as future 5th grader graduates who will also be able to use the station activities. The limbo stick was a big hit - our kids really impressed us with their flexibility!

The snacks were also a welcome surprise - it was the perfect way to end a fun day and to cap off their last few days of elementary school.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stutz

  • Our Grads Are Out of This World!

    Funded Apr 8, 2022

Through your generosity, we were able to give our graduates the best send off ever! We were able to create an inviting space for our graduates and their families with our decor and balloon artwork. The swag bag gifts were also a bit hit with the kids, as many of them love puzzles and logic games. Simple touches, like our themed tablecloths, really gave our ceremony a cohesive feel and aesthetic. Thank you for supporting the Class of 2022 and for helping to give them a wonderful conclusion to their final year in elementary school. To middle school and beyond, kids!”

  • Fifth Grade Is No Sweat

    Funded Dec 28, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my students! These hygiene supplies were so appreciated by both my students and our school social worker, who put together special baggies for each 4th and 5th grade student. These were used in part with a school workshop and assembly around peer pressure. With middle school on the horizon, our scholars appreciated these little tokens, along with learning about what lies ahead in their educational careers. We thank you for your generosity and for helping our students prepare for the changes that lie ahead of them.”

  • Dynamic Discussions with Parlay Ideas

    Funded Nov 26, 2021

We are loving Parlay for digital discussions. My students love the ability to share their thinking and build upon their ideas through the website. We have learned to respond to the ideas in each post, not the person who "penned" it. This has been a major breakthrough, as it has helped my students focused on the content in front of them and not the person who shared their thinking. The accountable talk prompts are perfect and really help gear my students towards meaningful conversations about our topics. We have used it many times to gear up for classroom debates. Thank you for supporting my classroom.”

  • Inspiring Our Future With Stickers

    Funded Apr 22, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting the first graduating class of QE! We had an amazing celebration with our students and the stickers were the perfect sendoff gift for our students.

They customized their water bottles, choosing stickers that represented them and their interests. The snacks were also a welcome surprise too!

We continue to share stickers with our current fifth graders as a way to encourage and motivate them. It adds little splashes of positivity and love into our every day lives.”

  • Working on Our Flow with Flocabulary

    Funded Oct 22, 2020

Our fifth graders are loving their access to Flocabulary. The raps and music have really helped both our in-person and remote learners.

There is a great variety on Flocabulary's website, allowing our grade level to share learning videos about math, reading, writing, and content topics.

Our students love watching and rewatching the videos - and many love singing along. We love using it as an extension to our learning activities, as well as a motivation to get our students excited about the day's learning.”

  • Get Our Brains Popping with BrainPop!

    Funded Oct 12, 2020

My school is so thankful for this subscription to BrainPop. Third graders are learning all about their math concepts via BrainPop and it's been a great compliment to our fiction reading curriculum in 5th grade as well.

BrainPop is keeping our students engaged, both in the physical classroom and remotely. The ability to bridge our curriculum using this site is wonderful in our hybrid learning world. It is providing our students will accessible videos that breakdown complex ideas and concepts.”
