This year it's all about trying new things, in with the new and out with the old. I've noticed that as our world continues to develop and evolve and our schools and children are left in the dust, always having to catch up. Seating in metal seats is uncomfortable and for my students with autism, who require stimuli something as a comfortable seat will help keep focus or help keep calm. At the moment, when needed my students are allowed to take a walk, or a sensory break to help keep calm and help self-regulate. With flexible seating, my students will be given the opportunity to have options, options to take control of their learning at a comfort level. They will be able to continue their learning in class with their choice of seat.
