In ELA 9 at Commerce this year, we are sharpening our reading, writing, and critical thinking skills through several different units that center around big questions, such as, "Who changes the world?" as we learn about and discuss the impact of change agents on society, "How can images change the world?" as we analyze how different American photojournalists defined an important period in history, and "How does perspective shape our understanding of events?" as we examine multiple perspectives connected to the immigration process and experience. Thanks for supporting the work that we do every day in ELA!
