Kindergarten is about learning important life skills and these are taught in many different ways. In my class, we learn life skills through reading, math, writing, science and social studies but most importantly through our socialization centers. My classroom's socialization centers encourages my kinders to role play. Role playing helps them improve important social and emotional skills, such as empathy, and be able to apply them in real life. Through these centers, students will continue to build their language and problem solving skills as well. Giving our learners the opportunity to learn through a way the comes natural to them, through play, is the best gift that we can give them. Please help me in showing my students that they are all amazing and that socializing is an important part of their educational career!
