  • Sensational Sit Spots!

    Funded Aug 28, 2023

These sit spots are amazing!! They just arrived today and we can't wait to get them labeled and in use. They are large and colorful and will be perfect for circle time. We have learned to never use the word indestructible in a preschool classroom but... these seem like they will be pretty indestructible!! They are really going to give our little ones a clear defined space to sit on during time on the carpet. This is going to cut down on behavior issues as well as helping the students to focus on instruction which will result in increased learning.

    Thank you again so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Wells

  • You've Got Us Covered!

    Funded May 11, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to this project! Our shelves are all covered and ready to go for the new year! They look so nice and clean. It will be so helpful to our incoming little ones to have a visual of when it's time to play!

We are currently using the clear contact paper to adhere their nametags to the tables. It should be very durable and hold up nicely throughout the year. The room is looking great, and ready to welcome in our new group of friends soon. Thank you for helping us make it happen!”

  • Freezing Fun With Polar Animals!

    Funded Apr 3, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation to fund this project! Our students love the polar animals unit each year. They really enjoy learning about different types of animals that we don't see where we live. They are going to have so much fun playing with the animals in the block center, using the penguin balance to practice counting and learn about weights and measures, and the Magna-tiles are going to be a hit! The plain ones we have now are already a favorite in our classroom. When the students see the frozen/ ice themed colors and the awesome animals that go with them, they are going to be so excited! I don't say this often (or ever!)- but I can't wait for winter!”

  • Sea Monkeys and more... Science Galore!

    Funded Apr 3, 2023

We are having so much fun!!! Our students are loving all of the awesome things you helped to purchase and bring to our classroom. We have hatched our triops and our sea monkeys and they are already growing like crazy. We added our new ants to our ant farm and they are settling in. We are still waiting for our caterpillars and ladybug larvae to come in the mail but their habitats are all set up and ready. The students are having fun drawing and writing in the journals about what they see every day at school. Our students are learning so much from this experience and we are grateful for your donation.

    Thank you!”

  • Cut, Paint, and Tear & Tape Fun!

    Funded Apr 3, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to our project! It's so important for our students to develop their fine motor skills. We want to set them up for success as they progress into older grades in school as well as for life all around. These books are really going to help them keep working on these important skills during summer break while school is not in session. We received a class set of each of the following books:

    1. A paint with water book- the paint is part of each page of the book so all they will need at home is a little bit of water

    1. A scissor skills book- these books have fun and colorful activity pages that the children can practice cutting things out on

    3. A tear and tape book- these books include 4 colorful rolls of tape to practice tearing and using to complete the pictures on the pages of the book

Our students are going to have fun this summer with their books and keep their fine motor skills sharp!

    Thanks again!”

  • Extras for Accidents!

    Funded Feb 28, 2023

Thank you so much for helping us fund this project! We received all of the clothing including many pairs of underwear for girls and boys, lots of cute leggings for the girls, and a selection of athletic pants for the boys. We go through a lot of extra clothes around here and it has been so helpful to have a stock of nice, new clothes that fit our students! No more putting clothes that are old or don't fit on the children! So far we have used a few, and the students who had to change were very excited to get to pick a pattern or color to change into. Thank you for helping us take care of these little ones!”

  • We Just Got a Letter, Wonder Who It's From!

    Funded Mar 2, 2023

Thank you so much for funding this awesome project! We have already received everything and added it to our art center and the students are loving it! They feel so grown up when they can write a letter, put a stamp on it, and put it in the mailbox. We have seen a huge increase in writing over the past few days because the students are so excited about "mailing" letters to their friends. Even students who are typically not interested in writing are getting involved. This is going to make a huge impact on their fine motor and writing skills. Thank you again for helping us give these little ones a solid foundation!”

  • Spring Break Snack Attack

    Funded Jan 27, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to this project! We have received all of the materials requested. Everything is packed up and ready to go home with our students in a few short weeks when spring break arrives. It feels so good to know that every one of these little ones are going home with a bag full of food and snacks to supplement them while they are away from school. They have an awesome selection of oatmeal, cereal bars, crackers, ramen noodles, macaroni and cheese packets, and fruit and yogurt packets. Thank you again so much!”

  • A Book and a Buddy for This Holiday Season

    Funded Dec 7, 2022

Thank you so much for your support! This project was such a blessing to our students! We had to go to an alternate plan due to items selling out and shipping delays, but it's all worked out! We were able to send the children home with the gift bag and Nutcracker book that you see in the photos so that they could have it over winter break. We have just gotten the books and stuffed animals in finally in the last few days. They are so adorable I just don't have words! There is a photo of a few of them for you to see. With Valentine's Day right around the corner, we are going to hang onto them for a couple more weeks and surprise them all with their book and stuffed animal then! Thank you again for your donations!”

  • Stickers, Stamps, and Paint Sticks!

    Funded Dec 30, 2022

We are having so much fun with these items! The students are loving the stamps and ink. It's been great having them with the age range that we have because the younger ones are able to experiment with the stamps and ink colors, and our older ones are creating full scenes and adding in their own drawing and words! They also love the paint sticks. We have been creating winter scenes with them. They have also enjoyed adding stickers to their artwork, as well as getting a scented sticker on their daily sheet every day. These materials have been a great addition to our classroom, and we are thankful to you for your donation!”

    Ms. Wells
