Since we are a dual language school, we must provide children with a multitude of high interest, rich, bilingual texts that are expensive and hard to find. We focus on instilling a love for reading and writing which is hard to do without the proper resources. Currently, our library is lacking books in Spanish and children are not able to have books that interest them. These books and furniture will be used to create an inviting and warm library corner children will be eager to go to. The bouncy bands and flexible seating will be used for the library corner as well, but for our sped children who might need it. Please help me create an inviting and engaging multiculturally rich library for my second graders!
