Most children love to use technology to learn new and exciting topics. However, many of my students come from low income households and don’t have the opportunity to use this type of technology at home. My students only get a chance to use the three computers that we have in our classroom and sometimes the computers aren’t functioning. My students will greatly appreciate the usage of the ipad mini. They could use the ipad to work independently on extra reading and writing tasks during literacy stations. They can even listen and read educational books online. My students will become fluent readers and their language development will increase by integrating more engaging technology in the classroom. The ipad mimi will be an essential tool used in my classroom to help all students to make significant progress towards their learning goals.
