My students enjoy reading so much! Just imagine how excited they will be when they have opportunities to read about characters from their cultural backgrounds. Last Stop on Market Street shows the strong relationship among family members. Many of my students will be moved by reading about a boy and his grandma as they go about helping others. These books will inspire the students to be proud of their cultural backgrounds and also learn about other cultures. Students love reading and by bringing more books to them they will improve their reading skills. All these books show strong characters and positive role models.
