These materials will allow my students to have age-appropriate furniture that will be incorporated in encouraging reading growth. Appropriate furniture helps reduce many fidgety attention issues, so that students can focus on their tasks. Age-appropriate reading material is important for student engagement. The materials I have selected will offer over fifty age-appropriate, engaging titles that come with multiple copies to be used in guided reading groups and partner reading. Being able to have multiple students reading the same book increases social-emotional bonds in the classroom as well. Students feel included with their peers and have a bonding point that allows them to work together well.
