The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The board game will help students learn "time" and "colors" in groups; The red yarn is for students' community building of spider web game "sharing things in common", it also will be recycled as Chinese new year decoration. The white board will be used for students to practice writing Chinese characters and as jeopardy game answer boards. The donations to this project will help to better engage language learning while building community and cultural competency to all my students. By providing those materials, my students will better understand the target language through games, and also feeling part of the culture as well. We will use these materials to aide us in the process of class cultural building, engaging students with games in learning a second language. As the teacher, I have provided everything on instructional materials and all I need is your support to make the students' learning experience meaningful and fun.
