  • Shhhhh.....We Want to Learn Secret Stories

    Funded Jun 13, 2023

We are so excited to learn all the secrets to the English language! Your generosity allowed for purchase a supplemental curriculum. This curriculum will be used in both small group and whole group settings. With it we will learn all the "secret stories" that the letters make. These stories are used in conjunction with our current curriculum to help the scholars decode the English language.

This supplemental program will be used with many classes, so again thank you for helping many students for the years!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Schmiedlin

This classroom project was brought to life by LOFT.
  • Books Galore

    Funded Aug 10, 2023

Thank you for investing in our classroom. Our class loves to read and hear stories and your generosity allows us to experience different cultures, holidays, and traditions.

The books have been added to our classroom library and will be accessible for whole group class readings and discussions. Students will also have access to read them for independent time.

With this project I was able to select 30 new classroom library books! That is enough for every student to have one brand new book to read!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Schmiedlin

This classroom project was brought to life by Audrey Hillman Fisher Foundation and one other donor.
  • Headphones for First Grade

    Funded May 29, 2023

Your generous donations of headphones has helped tremendously with our independent computer time. During this time scholars work independently on pathways that are designed specifically for them. The new headphones allow them to hear their individualized instruction, so that they can concentrate on their learning while working next to peers.

As you can imagine 24 students receiving different instruction on their devices could become quite loud. With the headphones we are able to have a quite learning environment.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Schmiedlin

  • Additional Curriculum

    Funded Jan 12, 2023

Your generous donations have allowed me to gain access to additional materials that are lacking form our current curriculum. These materials have helped my scholars enhance their studies and show so much GROWTH! What is so special about the materials that I received from Teachers Pay Teachers is that they are designed by fellow educators. When we make a purchase from TPT we can use they over and over, so many of the materials are available in both print and digital forms (so we are also leaning computer skills). Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Schmiedlin

  • Setting Up a New Classroom

    Funded May 4, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my 1st grade classroom. The children are loving everything!!

We use the items just about everyday for whole group and small group instruction.

The items allow us to stay organized and have materials ready for use.

The scissor caddy is a big hit as scissors are out and ready for use for all of our art projects and word sorts! They love the bright bold primary colors.

Their favorite item is the mailbox! They love to be responsible school citizens and check them multiple times a day to see if they have items in them!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Schmiedlin
