My school is located in an inner-city low-income neighborhood. Our school doesn't have a library. So the supplies on my list are a great way for me to start a reading/library center in my classroom. At least 6 students can fit in the reading center. Long ago I purchased one CD player, and the whole class used it by taking turns, but since then it has been damaged. It was something that they enjoyed a lot, and I know they would enjoy it again. I have a few students in my classroom that can not read, therefore the CD player can read the stories to them. Some students enjoy stories being read to them. The reading center is already created. It's just missing a few items. Thank you!
