Although our school building is historical and has much character (high ceilings, slate chalkboards, beautiful art deco exterior), we do not have air conditioning. In the fall and spring, it gets hot enough to be a detriment to learning and even a danger to some students and staff members. Last year, our district had to call off school in our building for "heat days." This year, several teachers have raised money on this site to purchase air conditioners for our classrooms. I'm hoping that you'll help us "keep our cool" so that we can learn in a comfortable environment. Thank you!
