My students love to learn and draw on whiteboards. Last year we had a student that was allergic to the dust of dry erase markers and we had to do everything paper and pencil. They love new technology and will have a more meaningful experience expressing their ideas with these tablets, in more meaningful ways, without side effects. More students are coming to school with undiagnosed allergies, and dry erase dust is a new one that affected my classroom last year. By using the LCD tablets instead of dry erase markers or chalk boards, my students can share and show their work in a quick response format that is easy for me to assess their learning of the lesson whether it be math, science, spelling, etc.
