The materials are essential and special to my classroom because we are extremely limited in our space. We do not have room for tables or chairs for our entire class to utilize. We are blessed to have carpet, and I know my students will take wonderful care of these items as they have done so with personal materials. The books that are chosen have been picked with several of my students in mind. Though I do teach STEM, the books provide silent time for those who complete their projects and work quickly as so to not disturb the rest of their classmates. Dry-erase boards are beyond perfect for the class because that I have 130 students. It helps reduce paper copies as I teach my students the importance of helping Mother Earth and making our mark and taking the necessary steps.
