  • Bundle Up for Christmas

    Funded Dec 24, 2024

You should have seen the look on my students' faces when they opened up their gifts. They were so excited that they wore their hats and gloves the rest of the day. They came in at the perfect time too, because freezing rain and snow came through the following day. Many of my students come from economically disadvantaged homes so having these warm clothing items was a huge blessing for many of them. Mt students also loved the festive cups. It added a fun touch to our day, and with testing quickly approaching that was exactly what we needed. Thank you so much for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Harrison

  • A Splash of Color

    Funded Jan 27, 2025

Thank you so much for your donation! I can’t wait to see my students’ faces when they see all the fun, new things to add to our classroom. I guarantee you they will want to come to my room more because of how fun and inviting it will be. Thank you again!”

  • Snack Attack

    Funded Jan 17, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation! My students are so greatful to have a snack to eat to get them through the day. Many of my students come from a low economic household, so their parents can't afford to send them a snack to school. Having this burden lifted has been a blessing for not only my class' parents but for myself as well. When my class saw the boxes of snacks they go so excited that I had to calm them down so we could begin our reading lesson. They really enjoyed the variety of options to choose from also. Thank you again for your support.”

  • New Beginnings

    Funded Apr 15, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation! The chair pockets are perfect and have so much room. They have plenty of space for all the things my students need to put in there, and will allow for a more organized working space. The labels are already being used to make it easier to find supplies. It has made it to where I don't have to tell my students where things are located everyday, because they are able to read the labels to locate the item they are looking for. I can not thank you enough for helping me get these items to make learning a bit easier in the classroom.”

  • Lighting Up Reading

    Funded Mar 7, 2023

Thank you so much your donation! My students where so excited to recive this project. They beg me for flashlight reading so I have implemented flashlight Fridays. Every Friday we turn off all the lights, besides the LED color lights, and they each get a flashlight to read or work on work they need to finish for the week. They love it so much and it motivates them to read more. They are also enjoying the black lights and LED lights. I would love to get another strand of the LED lights to add to my front board so I can keep all the overhead lights off. Thank you again for investing in the education of my kiddos.”

  • Reading History

    Funded Dec 30, 2023

Thank you so much for your donation! I can’t wait to read these books during our social studies lessons to my students. My hopes is that these books will allow my students to learn about these people and events in a different way then just lectures or videos. Thank you again for your generosity!”

  • Reading Nook

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Thank you so much for your donation! My students where so excited to see their new reading area. They beg me to do independent reading time so they can go read in the reading nook. I love seeing them so excited to read and because of this new, fun area that is exactly how how they are feeling. I plan on doing another project to get new books to add to the cubbies on the bookshelves. They love I Survived and Who Will Win books so I think I need to get a few more to add to our library. Thank you again for investing in my students' education and sparking their love of reading!”

  • Literacy Fall Fun

    Funded Oct 10, 2022

My students where so excited when they saw all the fun things that we were going to be doing for the fall season. They loved getting to read books and do fun crafts and activities to go along with them.

The Jack book was followed by a fun activity where they could watch and experience the decomposition of a pumpkin/jack-o-lantern. They were very fascinated by the experiment and would be excited to come to my class to see what changes had been made to the pumpkin.

The Spookly book was probably their favorite activity. After we read the book, we watched the movie to compare and contrast the two. Then we made a fun snack that looked like Spookly using graham crackers and orange colored frosting.

Thanks to your donations my class got to see that reading books can be fun.”

  • Christmas Joy

    Funded Oct 7, 2022

Thank you so much for your support and donations. Thanks to you my students where able to have a wonderful Christmas at school regardless of what Christmas may have looked like at home. Many of students didn't get a very present Christmas due to home situations. They were so overjoyed to receive a gift that could open and call theirs. They were wearing the hat and gloves all day! In fact I still catch them wearing them despite it being 80 degrees outside. They also loved the coloring books and squishes. Thank you again for your support!”

This printer and printer ink will be used for a variety of everyday educational needs including daily writing and printing in the classroom. More so, however, I envision the students being able to each have an opportunity to create and print group projects. I also want them to learn how to respect the delicacies of the latest technology. It's not just a tool by which they can create things. As a ATPE history teacher I also see it as a gateway to better understanding how technology is a part of history from the wheel, to paper, to phones, to cars, to television, etc. It's just another aspect of human life throughout the ages, but one that has set our species apart from others and allowed us to adapt the environment to our needs. Students need to then appreciate how not to abuse that ability. They need to truly comprehend the enormity of how the latest technology can affect their lives. My students have many challenges to overcome every day, but with these new materials, we would be able to give my students the best chances to gain new skills like their peers.
