My district is on a hybrid model so my class is in person for two days and virtual for the other three days. For the three days that they're at home, we assign assignments for them to do. As we all know, learning math requires a lot of hands-on exploration and real-life application. Students need access to supplies, materials, and manipulatives in order to do this and to remain engaged at home while they are learning math. I would like to provide my students with at home Math supply kits that will keep them engaged throughout their learning. These kits will be sent home so that students will have all of the necessary supplies that they need to engage in activities and games that will enhance their learning. The manipulative kits are great because they have base-ten blocks, cubes and other manipulatives to help kids with their math assignments. The TpT gift cards will help me to buy digital activities to assign to the class. The dice will be used for different games and the flashcards will be to practice their multiplication facts. The big dry-erase board will be so that I can write on it while teaching online. The dry-erase markers, erasers, and mechanical pencils will be so that they can use it to complete their assignments. Since most families do not have these things at their homes, I'd like to provide it for them to use while they're doing their virtual learning. The jumbo magnetic fraction tiles and base ten blocks will help me to display problems in a visual manner when I am teaching online. Finally, the mesh bags will store all of their supplies in one place. Thank you, in advance, for your support during these unprecedented and challenging times!
