For Career Week we would like to provide lunchtime learning activities that focus on developing skills needed to be successful in their future career. Throughout the week we will play Career Taboo and Career Jeopardy to help students learn about the variety of options that are available to them. We will also play Bean Boozled as we teach students the importance of not leaving their career up to chance. We will also help students learn some important soft skills through a minute to win-it challenge that teaches grit, perseverance, brainstorming, and teamwork. Sometimes students have a hard time wanting to participate in activities, especially in front of their peers and friends. This takes courage and sometimes a little extra motivation in the form of candy. Each participant will earn a piece of candy just for trying. The more that participate in these activities, the more students will learn about potential careers and have fun at the same time!
