Coming into a brand new environment and learning among other children, some with special needs, can be overwhelming. This quiet cube will give students a place of respite when the classroom becomes too much to take in. It will teach students to self regulate and take a break when they need it. As adults, we have our own places we like to go to get away. We aim to teach children to take a break when they need it. This will encourage successful learning and decrease the number of behavioral disturbances. Self regulation is an important tool we will use our entire lives!
