My homeroom has over 30 students. They spend most of the time with me, but do travel to another room for English and Social Studies. When they are in another room, those teachers only want them to bring specific supplies. I do too, since there is no need for these students to be lugging around a ton of extra supplies. So they leave them in our room, except they can not leave it on their desk. When they are in English, I have another group of students that are with me for Math. The desks would get very crowded with all those extra supplies on them. For now, my students have been keeping their items in book bins on my counter. This works fine, but my counter is now only used for holding these supplies. These chair buddies will allow the counter to become free so we can do science experiments on them. Storing group projects can be a lot easier as well, as of now I can't do them because I can't keep them in the room. Transitions will be easier because the students can just reach behind them instead of 30 students trying to go to one space at the exact same time. Thank you for taking the time to check out my project and if you have the ability to donate even a little, I really appreciate it. If you can't donate, please take a moment to share this page so that others can see it and maybe we can be successful.
