Thank you for being so kind and donating to my project! I can't wait to utilize these materials with my class! These materials are going to be so important in helping students work on various skills and concepts in a fun and hands on way. Funded Mar 25, 2025

Thank you for helping with project funding!!! These the snacks and materials to keep the classroom clean and comfortable are appreciated!

It's funny, but a simple thing like applesauce means more than you know! We have students who love love it and being able to share their favorite snack with them is huge!”

  • Superstars of Today, Innovators of Tomorrow!

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you so much for these great materials! Our students love to play with play doh! Not only are they building fine motor sklls, but they are using it in small group lessons. We use playdoh to work on 1:1 correspondence, so they make five stars for the numeral 5. We also use the Playdoh to work on letter formation using alphabet cards. Genrally they smush playdoh to cover the letter, but as they probgress they work on rolling it to make lines and curves.

Wiki stix are also a great way to build fine motor skills and have fun while doing it!

The social emotional tools are a great way to help build social emotional skills and self regulation skills.

Thank you again for these great materials!”

  • Superstars Create Art!

    Funded Apr 2, 2024

Thank you so much for funding this project! The materials are great!

The Buddah board was an unusual and unexpected way for students to not only build their fine motor skills, but it also was a fun way to create and then create again! It was also a good way to introduce the idea that creativity is an active and fluid process as children were able to paint and then let it dry and paint again.

The alphabet train was also lots of fun! They enjoyed having the train cars come together with the magnets. They also were working on letter identification and alphabetical order by putting them together from A-Z!

Thank you again for giving some very hands on materials to my wonderful class!”

  • Every Pre-K Student Deserves Books in Home!

    Funded Nov 30, 2021

Thank you for the exciting materials for this project. One of our favorite toys for arrival time is the mix and max magnetic dinosaurs. Students have so much fun creating their own dinosaur animals. The fact that they are magnetic makes them even more exciting to use and is a great way for students to learn about magnetic properties.

The students also enjoy the roll-on painters. They make art and develop their fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are so important to help with pre-writing as well. Using the roll- on painters provides a different experience than painting with the paintbrush. It is not as drippy as regular paint can be and gives them a more controlled experience.

Our class enjoys the materials all the time! Thank you for helping make these experiences possible!”

  • Storytelling Props!

    Funded Nov 15, 2021

Thank you for the fun storytelling props! We use them during stories and songs. It is literally a great way to show the class a "hands on" way to add to the story or song with the puppet gloves.

The students also enjoy using the props to retell their favorite stories. One of our favorite stories lately has been "The Three Little Pigs." It is a great way for the children to develop oral language skills by acting out the stories. It is also funny to see what makes the biggest impact by listening to the events and character traits they decide to include and often elaborate on.”

  • Let’s Go: Time to Learn!

    Funded Sep 9, 2021

Thank you for your kindness and contributions to our classroom! The materials have been enjoyed by the children.

The students love using the sensory sand. Not only is it fun, but is a great way to develop fine motor skills for pre-writing. It is also fun to see how the students use the sand in different ways to create. Sometimes they use molds, but they also create with it to make various things.

When students are asked to pick out an activity for arrival, one of their favorite toys is the magnetic animals! They are fascinated with the magnets and put together their own animal hybrids! We had a farm animal set, but the dinosaurs magnets have been so much fun!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Williams

  • Dragons Love Stories!

    Funded Mar 16, 2021

Thank you so much giving the gift of books to my class! There is nothing like a young reader holding a book in their hands and taking a literary adventure! During a time where daily life was/is very different and sometimes isolating, books offered tickets to new worlds, friends, and imagination!

Students were excited to pick out their own books. A sense of ownership in their choice of book made it even more meaningful. One of my favorite things as a teacher is to witness how often a young reader will revisit a favorite book. Thank you for sharing this gift with my students!”

  • Pre-K Dragons Create Art!

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Art is such an important form of self expression! Our Dragons are able to make their art with the tools and supplies you helped put in their hands. I always believe in hands-on learning and enjoy the getting messy part of my job as a Pre-K teacher. So, I am glad to know that our students are able to paint and color while learning from home. Not only do we express ourselves through art, but it is a way to connect with each other.

The pride students have when sharing their work is such a joy to see. Thank you for helping making this school year one with art!”

  • Help Pre-K Dragons Build with Unifix Cubes!

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

It has been a year unlike any other, but it has been wonderful for our students to build and learn with Unifix cubes!

We have been working on counting, sorting, and building with them! On the 100th day of school the cubes were a great way for students to be able to touch and see how many 100 cubes are! It was also great because we could even try counting by tens to 100 because the cubes came in a pack of 10 different colors.

It has also helped to build a sense of community for all of the students to have the same tools.

This cubes help build number sense and help with fine motor development. Working with them also helps build the muscles needed for pre-writing. It helps to prepare them for the next step in their educational path.

Thank you for thinking of us and helping our mathmaticians go to new heights building towers and more with their Unifix cubes!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Williams

My Pre-K students are so excited about learning! While we are currently in virtual, these materials will extend learning beyond the screen. Please help me give them the tools they need such as the magnetic letter to help build phonological awareness. The cubes and counters will help them soar to new heights while building number sense. Hands-on materials are crucial in giving these hands-on learners the tools to learn and develop a strong foundation as they start their educational careers. These manipulatives will help these dragons ignite their joy of learning!
