The books being requested will be included in a Kindergarten classroom library. Not only will these fictional and nonfictional books about academic concepts help with cross-curricular instruction, but it will also increase the number of books in our classroom library and reinforce Common Core math and reading standards. Since my classroom has a mixture of academically advanced students, as well as students who benefit from intervention and extra support, having a wide variety of books on various academic concepts will not only assist in content-specific instruction, but it will serve as an extra resource for reading and math intervention (specifically the books geared toward K students). Thank you for your consideration and time!
