A class set of Number the Stars will expose my children to high quality literature and help to foster a love of reading and learning. I work hard to engage my students during class read alouds and this book is a true classic. While reading Number the Stars, my students will complete reading activities and work collaboratively to analyze the novel. The novel is also great for cross-curricular teaching, as it deals with World War Two and the Holocaust. Also, as a teacher with diverse students, I love exposing them to diverse novels. With a class set of books, I could really engage my students on many educational levels.
