• Travel Around the Room Part 3

  Thank you so much for your generosity and support. These exercise balls are a great addition to our flexible seating. We already pumped one up to use. The students are excited to have these in the classroom.

  We now have colorful stools, one wobble chair, and exercise balls in our classroom. There is a variety for students to choose from. The students look forward to getting the opportunity to use the fun chairs in the classroom.

• Captivating Color Creations

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. We are so excited to get multicultural crayons, a class set of crayons, and construction paper. These new art materials will help us in a variety of subjects. The construction paper will also be used to help us decorate the room throughout the year.

  The multicultural crayons and paper will allow students to create pictures that look like them. They will love being able to have the option to use these materials.

• Ding Dong, Pencils & More!

  Thank you so much for your generosity and support. We are very excited to have a class set of colored pencils and crayons. These materials will be used for a vast variety of projects and lessons. The stapler was much needed as well as the pencils and erasers. I am very thankful to have pencils and erasers available to give to students if they do not have any.

  We are very excited to have the class doorbell added to our room. This will help get everyone's attention if the class is working in partners or small groups.

• Keep Your Peepers on Your Paper

  I am so excited to introduce these in the classroom. These privacy folders will allow students to have their own personal space when they take assessments. As a result, students will feel more comfortable.

  These boards can be used for any assignment in the classroom. In addition, they will allow students to move around the room to work on assignments as needed.

• Show Me the Money!

  Thank you for your generosity in supporting our classroom. We are all very appreciative for the continuous support for education.

  This play money will help students when we get to our money unit in math. These tools will help bring the money to life for students. The individual packs of money will allow students to have their own pack of fake money to use. This will allow students to sanitize their hands before using the same pouch.

  My students are currently working on place value in math class. They have been working hard and have been doing a great job with distance learning. They will be very excited to see the play money as opposed to seeing digital pictures on their screens.

  Thank you again for your generous donation. These materials will greatly help our math lesson when we reach this topic. We hope everyone is staying healthy and safe during these times.”

• The Wonderful World of Writing!

  Thank you for your generous donation towards our classroom. My virtual learners and I are very grateful to be able to purchase digital materials to use during our virtual class.

  I am planning to use the gift card to purchase writing materials and activities to help keep our class fresh and exciting.

  My second graders have been working on writing personal narratives. I am excited to purchase new personal narrative activities for them. In addition, they have be working on quick writes, using proper capitalization, correct punctuation, and using transition words.

• Bravo to Boogie Boards

  Funded May 1, 2020

  Thank you for your donation towards "Bravo to Boogie Boards". I am excited to introduce these in the classroom. These new resources will allow students to be eco- friendly and save paper. In addition, it will help us cut down on the cost of dry erase markers.

  The Boogie Boards will be used when students need to practice showing their work. It will used as a reward system to help encourage students to show their work. In addition, this system will allow all students to get an opportunity to use the Boogie Boards.

  The Boogie Boards are easily able to be sanitized after each use. We hope to work towards obtaining a class set of Boogie Boards in the future.

  I am very excited to share that we have received our colorful new chairs today. We are very excited to have these in our classroom to use as needed. They will help us to have fun while sitting around the room. We are eagerly awaiting our wobble seat to come in the mail. I know this will be a great addition as well.

  These chairs have provided more space for my students to work on assignments. The students can move around and have more privacy. In addition, the love the opportunity to move around. They view these chairs as a fun reward.

  They are a great addition to our room and a great start towards our flexible seating goal. We cannot wait to keep building our flexible seating in our class.
