  • STEM Kits = Higher Order Thinking Skills

    Thank you so much for donating this wonderful project to our classroom! My students were so excited to be able to learn the process of trial and error. This project brought students who normally wouldn't work with each other together; It allowed for them to work as a team to reach a specific goal. Again, thank you!

    Prior to building the actual waterway, my beautiful students created there own waterway models through a cut and paste activity. They then created the waterways using the cut and paste model as a start off point. They had so much fun!!! Thank you again”

This project will help me to introduce my students to hands on STEM activities. These STEM activity kits will afford my students opportunities to engage in tactile kinesthetic, hands on learning. My students are inquisitive and these kits will help them to develop critical thinking and higher order thinking skills. These STEM kits will also assist my students will improving their abilities to work collaboratively and comprehend the power of team work. Lastly, these interactive kits will also empower my students to participate in accountable talk while using these kits.

About my class
