  • Interaction Reaction

    Funded Dec 29, 2020

Teaching was not the same doing this remote year. I was constantly looking for new ways to engage my students.. Once I introduced them to Neapod, life was not the same for me nor for me nor for them. They were so engaged with Neapod lessons that they were asking to do a lesson in every subject every day. I even gave them neapod for homework, in math and reading even in writing. My students was so engaged. Neapod was a platform where every student participated and always wanted to take part in discussions. I can't thank you enough for sowing into this project. Thanks a million.”

  • Love of Reading

    Funded Oct 27, 2020

Thanks for the resources that were provided for my scholars education. They were truly appreciative of the material they received.

They really enjoy using the dry erase boards and dry erase markers. The boards go over extremely well doing math lessons. When I do a quick fact fluecy drill they race to be the first to display their answers. It's also awesome when we have our sight word drills as well. They love the competition. I love the engament it brings.

I will incorporate the use of the board with the phonic lessons so that can display how the break apart word. Looking forward. Thank you.”

  • Writing Made Perfect

    Funded Oct 22, 2020

Thanks for the resources that were provided for my scholars education. The charts paper allow me create charts that provide scaffolds in reading, writing and math. The charts are also used during instruction to model for the scholars. I am able to model the writing process and provide examples of benchmark writing pieces. During math I am able to show them how to work out word problems step by step.

The scholars are provided with an abundance of pencils when writing assignments for blended learning (home and in school building). Thank you .”

  • Writing In Style

    Funded Sep 3, 2020

Thanks again for the resources. They love doing the number of the day. This tool helps the scholars with past, present, and future math skills. The number of the day tool is a daily routine and they look forward to sharing out their answer. It is an awesome math do now.

The touch stylus really helps them when they are working on their tablets. The scholars have expressed how much easier it is to write on their tablets. I truly love the blends diagrams. I have some struggling readers and this resource really helps with guided reading lessons. Thank you.”

  • You Can't Mask Our Love of Learning

    Funded Aug 31, 2020

Thank you for the resources that were provided for my scholars. The pencil and sharpeners add a personal touch, because of social distancing the scholars are not able to share materials. Each scholar was given their own supplies od pencils and sharpeners.

On the remote days when they learned from home, the noise canceling computer headsets are able to help them stay focused during instruction. They are able to void out distractions from sounds in their homes.

The drawstring backs help then keep their material that is needed for daily instruction organizations for blended learning .”

  • Zoom Into Teaching We Never Stopped Learning!

    Funded Aug 25, 2020

I can't thank you enough for the resources that were provided for my scholars. The file folder pocket is excellent for keeping all the school notices, IEP information, data sheet, lesson plans and more.

The scholars were fascinated during the math lessons to see how i was able to make the lessons come to life with all of the math manipulative.

The Teachers Pay Teacher gift card was very useful in allowing me to purchase Google vitural materials. The virtual worksheets, slides and lessons really helped with all lessons. Thank you”

  • It's Time to Find Out What's Going on in the World

    Funded Nov 2, 2019

Times for Kids was an excellent resource for exposing the scholars to world events/issues. They enjoyed reading them in class then later discussing many of the topics with their peers. Times for Kids was also an excellent tool to use when teaching non-fiction reading skills such as main idea and cause and effect. I loved the fact that I was able to project the digit editions on the Promethem board. This allowed me to highlight important points in the article that were good discussion points. The scholars always looked forward to a new edition.

Thank you for making a class of scholars excited about reading 📚”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. London

It is important to teacher scholars in new and more creative fun ways. Each lesson opens in the gathering area where I teach a mini lesson then use my check list to assess for understanding. I do this by asking questions, having them answer them on paper or verbally. There are times when I have them respond by using technology where it boost student engagement. However I don't have enough to go around. They love using the math, reading and writing apps to enhance learning when they are in small groups and independent activities. These are the tools that enhance learning.
