• Outdoor STEM

  Funded Nov 20, 2024

  Thank you for contributing to our outdoor play area. The student leaders at PS390q have been able to utilize all of the amazing materials that were donated to the school. The basketball hoops were a true hit. The kids loved the Life Size Connect four and out door play has gotten more exciting for our student leaders. Everyday the students go out for recess they have access to all these amazing STEM sport equipment. Without our supportive community we would never be able to do this great work and provide such awesome activities.”

• Third Grade School Supplies

  Thank you for the generous contribution to the third grade classroom. Our school year has been off to a great start. Our leaders have been using all the supplies in the classroom to get organized. We have put the markers and white boards to good use each day and allow students access to all the materials to make their learning more fun! Thank you again for always contributing and helping our leaders have access to every supply they can think of to make their learning more colorful! Without our contributors from Donors Choose, our classrooms would lack the extra supplies that every student wishes for, you brought their wishes true and the leaders love it all!”

• STEM Gardening

  Funded Jun 5, 2024

  Thank you to all the generous donors that contributed to making our school garden so fabulous. All the gardening supplies that were donated help extend our learning to outdoors. Students were able to get first hand experience, gardening and working the garden to bring it to its full potential. The garden grew and provided fruits and vegetable to our students, families and even members in the community who came to pick over the summer. Allowing our leaders a chance to learn in a different way was incredible. Every student played a role in making our garden so beautiful and that is all thanks to the generous contributions from Donors Choose. Thank you again for everything you do for our school community! • Sweet Treats and Learning

  Funded May 6, 2024

  Thank you for the generous donations to our school community. The cotton candy machine along with the balloon arch and popcorn maker came into great use during our Carnival. Parents all took part in utilizing the donations to make the day super sweet and special to our leaders at PS390q. The contributions will be used year after year to bring joy to the students at our school. This year at the beginning of the school year, Balloon arches were created with our arch to welcome leaders on the first day. Thanks again for all of the ongoing support to our school community! • Let’s Get Organized!!

  Our student leaders were able to utilize the wonderful donations to organize their belongings and maximize learning. We are ever so grateful for the generous donations that are given to our classrooms at PS390q as they are used daily and really benefit our students. The seat sacks are housing all our personal learning materials, we make sure we keep them clean and organized. The bins helped organized our library. Our leaders were thrilled when they received the new seat sacks and couldn't wait to put their things inside!”

• Kidney table for Small Group Instruction

  Funded May 9, 2023

  Thank you for the generous donation for our kidney table. This new addition to the classroom has created a space for small group intervention. Our student leaders utilize this space as a safe space to ask for support and work alongside the teacher. We love that this new piece of furniture has become such an important area in our classroom. Student leaders can even choose to sit at the kidney table during independent reading time. It is so important to have families as partners in our classroom, and the donations and support that went into funding this project shines right through. Thank you again for all you do for PS390q!”

• Help Our Leaders Master Reading

  Thank you for your generous gift to the SETSS classroom. Our teachers across the entire building have access to these amazing resources and have been using them with students in all grades. We are beyond grateful to have the opportunity to add different strategies to boost our leaders reading skills. What better way to learn through fun and games. Our leaders are utilizing these resources in centers that align with what they are learning in the classroom. Once again, we are ever so thankful for the generous donations!”

• Kidney Table for Small Group Instruction

  Funded Jul 8, 2022

  Thank you so much for your generous contribution for our kidney table. The students are thrilled to have this extra addition in the first grade classroom. Our leaders have been using the table during small group instruction. All of the students are excited to work at the new table and have a chance to be face to face with the teacher in a small group. This table will be used for years to come. We are so grateful to be part of such a giving community, our leaders are working hard to make changes and positive impacts on the community.”

• Bring Color Into the Classroom! (Printer Needed)

  Funded Oct 16, 2019

  We are grateful for your generosity. Our students are loving the colored printer that you have donated to our classroom. Since we received the printer, we have been utilizing it to create beautiful and educational learning materials for the classroom. The printer has certainly become a visual aid for our learners that have different learning needs. Some students in an Inclusive classroom need picture cues to help them learn, we have been using the printer to benefit those learners most. Students are now starting their nonfiction writing unit, this printer will give them an opportunity to print out realistic pictures that they can add to their informational books that they will be creating. We are beyond thankful for this donation, and love how fast it was funded and sent to us! Thank you again to all our donors for the contribution.”
