My students will be journaling this year. By incorporating a journal in their math lessons, my students will have visuals and notes to help them better comprehend the 7th grade math concepts taught in Middle School. Their math journal is specially useful when learning the geometry concepts. The math journal will help student with homework assignments. Most of my students do not have parents at home who speak English to help with homework. This will be a valuable tool for them. The math journal will be the end of year study guide before the end of the year STARR test.
