We have a total of 3 aging desktop computers for approximately 20 third grade students. If my students had at least 5 tablets they would be able to learn more, research more and experience life outside of a textbook. The world is at their fingertips! My kiddos would also learn how important it is to be SAFE and responsible with technology in and out of our classroom. Internet safety is so IMPORTANT. With these tablets I can help them learn how to stay safe and be responsible. Finally, for the kiddos of mine who do not have technology access at home will have that opportunity to experience it first hand in a safe and learning environment. These tablets won't only help my students research different topics BUT they will learn important skills about internet safety and how to be responsible with their property.
