  • Making Maker

    Funded Apr 7, 2025

Thank you so much for helping me create a makerspace environment for my students that can help them thrive and work on life long skills! It is because of donors like you that I am able to do great things with my students and continually become a better educator and mentor for them.”

  • Tidy, Cozy Space

    Funded Dec 4, 2024

The items you helped purchased have been a great asset to the classroom. Lighting is often intense with LED lighting and in the classroom you can only turn all the lights on or all of them off. These light covers help to balance the light so it's a softer environment better for learning. We often don't think of those small aspects of a classroom but they are vital to having teachers and students do their best work. The other items help to keep our classroom at our best so that everyone can focus on the learning aspects in the room. Thank you so much for seeing how these small efforts can make a big difference in the lives of students and teachers.”

    Funded Oct 3, 2024

These books are such a hit with the kids! They love combining reading and technology. I am excited to see them keep getting checked out of our tech library. With your help this dream of mine started to come to life. Kids are learning there are many ways to learn the skills we use in technology and life! These books will continue to be read for years to come! I will be using them in classrooms to start technology units as well. The ideas we can build on from these books are limitless! Inspiration is going to soar!”

  • Making with Makey

    Funded Apr 27, 2024

I am always looking for ways to improve and increase opportunity in our tech lab. Makey Makey kits are a great way for kids to explore and invent. This encourages their imagination and allows their creativity shine. Your generosity made it possible for us to order our first Makey Makey kits. The kids drove right in and are so excited to see what they can create with these amazing tools. Thank you so much for seeing our project and taking the time to reach out and support us. It's partners like you that make a difference in students' lives.”

  • Operation Organization

    Funded Apr 16, 2024

Our tech club at our school has grown a lot over the years, not just in student participation but in opportunities. With new supplies comes new needs to organize. This project that you made come to life is about organizing our technologies so they stay in use and protected. We want to make sure that all our supplies stay in tip top shape so students can learn and work in our tech lab.

I truly appreciate your generosity to help make my students' dreams come true in our tech lab even through the organizational tools I need to keep everything up and running for them.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Netzer

  • 3D Printing Pieces

    Funded Mar 4, 2024

The supplies that you generously donated towards purchasing, have helped keep our tech lab well stocked and in good working order. We try to provide technology for our students to use and learn from, but there is always ongoing expenses. It's people like you who support education and STEM in schools that makes this possible. Now when our students work on 3D printing we don't have to ration supplies or worry about how many students can work at once. The USB drives make it possible to print easier for us and overall make it a better learning environment.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Netzer

  • Just Keep Printing

    Funded May 15, 2023

It's hard to describe the impact that our technology has had on our school. We started with just 1 3D printer back in May of 2017. Now we are up to 5 machines and often have a list of prints that needs to be made. This technology is providing innovative experiences for our students in a way we could never imagine at their age. Keeping up with supplies and maintenance is key to this success. Thank you for helping us keep well-stocked in supplies and have the protective coverings we need for over the summer when they are not in use.”

  • 3D Writing!

    Funded Apr 14, 2023

Thank you so much for helping us get more 3D pens! The students in our school love these pens. We use them to create but also to help fix and add details to our 3D printer projects. Having more of them gives us more flexibility with these tools. Our technology program is thriving and it's largely due to the support of people like you through donors' choose. I am forever grateful for all of the generous support I have received for my technology program. Thank you for being a part of this program through your generous support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Netzer

In my classroom I serve 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math students. I strive to show all kids they matter. A kid not cared for is missing something they need to truly thrive. Located in rural Maine, resources are limited and as teachers we must bring the world to our students so they feel comfortable going out into it in the future. I have a passion not just for teaching, but for my students.
