For the learning of language, it is crucial for students to be able to absorb as much language as possible. The headphones would allow for the use of audiobooks, language software, songs, poems and clips of relevant information which are essential to furthering their English development. These headphones would allow them to improve their language skills by leaps and bounds. At the moment, the students struggle with headphones that do not work or constantly malfunction. Many times students become discouraged and frustrated and not having proper headphones. These headphones would alleviate the struggle and allow them to focus on their learning. The OneOdio have microphone capability which will allow language to become alive through the use of programs like Storyjumper where they create online books or summarize a book previously read. They will be able to utilize Flipgrid which allows them to record themselves and answer questions orally with out the pressure of being wrong in front to the class or confining their language to paper and pencil. The use of the headphones would allow my students to unleash their full language potential.
