Distance Learning has been a challenge for both teachers and students. The distance learning modality, while providing the best case scenario for learning during the pandemic event, lacks the full visual component provided by the actual in-classroom experience. In order to maximize the web- based learning experience, there are peripherals which can improve the online visual experience. Although Zoom provides my students and I with a solid form of communication, it can be readily improved with a few simple, accessible devices. We need devices (7th Generation iPad, Stylus pen, and Okiocam (USB document camera) where I can write or draw and also project my work in order to teach my students. The contents of the 7th generation iPad and Stylus pen will fill their monitors- as opposed to the web cam experience. I can also use the Okiocam (USB document camera) to share note taking/ textbook/workbook lessons all subject matter. Because most of my students are visual learners, it is crucial that they see what I have modeled. Auditory learning alone does not suffice to meet the needs of my students. The 7th generation iPad, stylus pen and Okiocam (USB camera document reader) devices will permit me to fully project my lessons via the student's Zoom connections.
