Students are often required to collect, assemble and use evidence multiple times daily to build knowledge and/or to solve problems. These problems could range from keeping their desk materials organized to identifying why the population of a species is in decline. We are seeking various materials to supply our classroom "makerspace" where students can utilize them in their STEAM investigations.
With a donation to our project, you can be assured our students have the necessary materials to utilize the Engineering Design Process to engage in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) learning that will enable them to become 21st century problem-solvers.
By limiting the obstacles of not having the proper materials and tools to complete their investigation, the students will become less distracted and working in "STEAM TEAMS," they will be able to fully concentrate on the task.
